T’SHUVAH  - Days of Turning and Repentance - Elul
Beginning August 7th – Ending Sundown, Sept 13th 2013

The Month of Elul on the Jewish calendar introduces a 40-day period of Repentance and Return to the Lord called Teshuvah'

“Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the tribulation is past.   For the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the Earth for their iniquities." ~ Isaiah 26:20-21

THE DAY HAS FULLY COME...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

"When the Day of Pentecost had fully come ... Suddenly a sound as of a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what appeared as tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues."  ~ Acts 2:2-3

So what does that mean?  What does it mean when a day is "fully come?"   What does it mean to be "filled" with the Holy Spirit?  Is this the first time tongues manifested on the Earth? Does the ancient Feast of Shavuot and the Hebrew language of Scripture give us clues to these and other mysteries surrounding the Day of Pentecost?  These and other insights are discussed in the newest 30-minute Hebraic video teaching:

PREPARING FOR PENTECOST - COUNTING THE OMER

We are approaching the Feast of Pentecost (evening of May 14th).  The word Pentecost is a Greek derivative meaning the 50th Day.  The Church refers to Pentecost as its "Birthday," but that is a poor rendering of the significance of this Feast.  Pentecost is really the anniversary of the day that Yashua, our Messiah, betrothed Himself to His Bride!

Since the Resurrection Event (Firstfruits), there are intervening days called "Counting the Omer."  These days are numbered right up to the Day of Pentecost (Feast of Shavuot) for a reason.  The Psalmist wrote that we should "number our days" and the prophet Daniel identified Yashua as "The Wonderful Numberer."*

Here is a video teaching I present on "Counting the Omer" - our journey to the Feast of Pentecost:

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." ~ Psalm 90:12

* "Then I heard a holy one speaking and another holy one said unto Palmoni Kadosh (the Wonderful Numberer) which spake "How Long shall the vision be..." ~ Daniel 8:13

TWO CALENDARS, TWO VISITATIONS

Throughout the pages of Scripture, you see dates, times, seasons, months and days mentioned specifically.  But most modern-day Bible students haven't a clue how to discern these occasions.  Why?  Because there are actually two separate calenders in operation from Genesis to Revelation and both were instituted by God for the purpose of teaching his disciples when the Messiah will visit the Earth.

In this short video teaching, you will learn the two Biblical calendars; when God instituted them; why they are important today; and what are the Hebrew idioms relating to these "Appointed Times."

"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.  For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night."
~ 1st Thess. 5:1-2

THE PASSOVER MYSTERY - SOLVED!

The story of Pesach (Passover) is rich with Hebraic undertones and ancient idioms.  And because of this, there has been much confusion surrounding the teaching of this glorious feast.   I want to take just one significant controversy that has perplexed the Christian Church for centuries and bring clarity to your understanding:  "How could Messiah die on Friday; be raised up on Sunday; and still fulfill the prophecy of 3 days and 3 nights in the grave?"  In this two-part video teaching, I hope to help solve the mystery and inspire the Joy of the Season...

WORSHIP AT HIS HOLY HILL - (Janet's Worship Video)

During this sacred season, I want to share with you a recording in which I narrate excerpts from Psalms 98, 99 and 108.  My favorite musicians, Secret Garden, provide background worship and I've added graphics which convey the spirit of these passages to take you to your own secret garden of prayer and worship.  The Messiah Bridegroom Yashua paid the "Bride Price" during the Passover season so that one day, He will return to take His Bride to the wedding chamber (chuppah) which is being prepared even now.

"Exalt the Lord your God and worship at His Holy Hill;
for the Lord our God is Holy."  ~ Psalm 99:9
