67 YEARS TODAY -- A BIBLICAL DECEPTION

67 years ago today, Modern Day Israel was born. And for 3 decades, I was taught this was God's prophetic plan to return the Jews to their homeland. But was it? Indeed it fulfills prophecy--but God said the "Kingdom of Israel would never exist again (2nd Kings 17). So, if this is God's plan, why isn't it called the State of Judah? And why does God allow idols in the land contrary to Torah? And why is "Israel" not mentioned in the Book of Revelation? 

No, the establishment of the modern State of Israel is the brainchild of evil men whose purpose is to introduce their "christ" very shortly to the world stage.  Modern Day Israel is the prophetic warning of Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 - "Let everyone who has an ear to hear, listen to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying ..."

A NEW DECEPTION -- TREE OF LIFE MESSIANIC BIBLE

As a former Rebbetzin and radio voice for the Messianic Jewish movement, I am compelled to comment on the latest tool in this Great Deception--The Tree of Life Messianic Bible (TLV).  

Created by the Messianic Jewish Family Bible (MJFB) Society--an organization which has made covenant with the Federal Government for tax advantages--the new TLV Bible poses troublesome challenges to the Gospel of the Kingdom as taught by Messiah Yeshua.  The MJFB posts confusing and biased claims on their website:

  

"This brand new translation is a fully vetted Biblical text uniting the Grafted with the Chosen - inviting Christians into our Jewish world view.

... "This text will use “pagan” for any person following a faith choice that is not considered 1st century Judaism. We may use “nations” when speaking of people groups not included within the believing “descendents of Israel,” 

whether born Jewish or “grafted in.”

There is an arrogant tone in these and other statements which suggests that non-Jewish Believers are somehow not on equal par with Jewish Believers. And that today, 2000 years after the Gospel was given, these modern-day Diaspora Jews are somehow the "keepers of the Word" and exclusively in charge of spreading the Gospel to the four corners of the globe.  They seem to have forgotten that Scripture confirms that the Jew who accepts Yeshua as Messiah is also "grafted-in" to the Good Olive Tree.  What happened to the "One New Man--all One in Yeshua?"  In Christ there IS no Jew or Gentile, no circumcised or uncircumcised!  (Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11)

The TLV Gospel of John depicts an artist's interpretation of "The Word becoming Flesh" as a man morphing out from a Torah Scroll.  This, in my opinion, is a dangerous subliminal.  The Gospel of John from which this depiction is taken, makes quite clear that the Word of God is a Person--not a book and certainly not a Torah scroll.  This is one of many subliminals inserted ino the TLV Bible to purposely influence the reader to believe that somehow God is Jewish and this is the preferred way of belief. Rabbi Paul made it clear who Yeshua is and who We are in HIM:

"For he himself (Yeshua) is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility."   ~ Ephesians 2:14-16

BEWARE OF THE BIAS OF THE TRANSLATORS!

TIME FOR A "SELAH!" ... Take a look at the frenzy, the fear and the misplaced focus that is being generated over the prophesied Blood Moons of 2014-2015 and the Mystery of the Shemitah.  Celebrity preachers, prophets, pastors and pulpit dwellers are showcasing the phenomena on television; DVDs; book sales; and YouTube videos. Even Fox News has interviewed Celeb Pastors about these forthcoming astronomical events. Somehow, I can't believe "That's what Jesus would do." 

This media frenzy reminds me of the 1999 Y2K flurry when church leaders stirred up the people that the world would come to a standstill at midnight, New Year's Eve.  They wrote books; made the talk-show circuits; visited hundreds of pulpits and profited $millions.   And the people--out of fear, not faith--stockpiled food and water; built fortresses; spent money they didn't have; and ignited the "prepping movement." But they either forgot or ignored that no where in the New Covenant -- (you know, the one that governs our day) -- did Jesus tell us to do these things.  To the contrary, He said "Take no thought for tomorrow..."  And Y2K turned out to be a prophetic boondoggle.

I suspect the Blood Moons will run their course, manifest, and the frenzy will dissipate because the dates touted by these Pastor Celebs follow the Talmudic Babylonian calendar--not the Levitical calendar God gave to Moses. It's impossible to really know the dates of the feasts today because they've been altered so many times. Perhaps that's what Jesus meant when He said, "No man knows the day or hour."  That's how I see it.  Shalom
